Ruby Parish Nurse

I graduated from a dipolma nursing school,

Sisters of Charity School of Nursing (the old Providence) in 1962

I completed my BSN in 1987 from UMKC.

I attended Parish nursing training in 2000

I retired from nursing in 2003, after 41 years of nursing experience.

My career has been in direct patient care as a staff nurse in GYN, pediatrics, ER, casemanager with the VAMC, Medical and Surgical wards.

Peggy Parish Nurse

I was born and raised in the Baptist doctrine. I am married with a grown daughter living in Leavenworth. I received my Associate Degree in Nursing in 1981 at KCKCC. I received my BA Management/Human Relations in 1995 and BSN (Nursing) in 1996 from MidAmerica Nazarene University. I am experienced in family practice, urology, ear/nose/throat, orthopedics, plastic surgery, neurosurgery and stroke patients at KU Hospital. I have been a Parish Nurse since 2001 using humor, music, and caring.
